Cars on Ohio I-275 struck by cinder blocks

CINCINNATI (AP) — Authorities in southwest Ohio say chunks of cinder blocks are being hurled at vehicles along a stretch of Interstate 275.

Police in Clermont County say they’re searching for two youths spotted running way early today after the latest incident east of Cincinnati. They say they have received five reports of cinder blocks coming from behind a sound wall.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says there have been no injuries yet, but that the blocks are a major danger to motorists who could be going 65 mph on the highway.

The Cincinnati Enquirer reports one driver early Sunday reported a front windshield was smashed, and another said a rear door was dented by a block. The driver of a semi truck says his front bumper was struck around midnight Monday.
