The Altrusa Club of Youngstown will host a “Sweetheart” luncheon and fashion show Thursday at Carrabba’s Italian Grill, 1320 Boardman-Canfield Road.
The public is invited, and the donation is $20. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the club’s annual Plant the Seed to Read Book Fair.
The doors will open at 11:30 a.m., and there will be a cash bar. Lunch will be served at noon. Possessions will have the latest in spring fashions and will help those who attend learn to accessorize the clothing they already own. There will be a gift auction and a 50-50 raffle.
