YOUNGSTOWN — A 33-year-old West Side man accused of dragging a Youngstown State University police officer with his car and assaulting the officer will have a psychological evaluation to determine if he is competent to stand trial.
The competency evaluation was ordered today by visiting Judge Diane Vettori in Youngstown Municipal Court
Seth McDaniel, of South Hazelwood Avenue, will remain in Mahoning County jail on $700,000 bond on the two felony and two misdemeanor charges against him.
McDaniel will be back in Youngstown Municipal Court on Feb. 29.
