YOUNGSTOWN — Five people have left a home in the 2300 block of Ohio Avenue near Lauderdale Avenue after SWAT team members made an entrance into the hom shortly before 10:30 a.m. The suspect is still believed to be inside, and efforts continue by law enforcement to convince him to come out. He is believed to be armed.
Police said the situation begain about 6:30 a.m. after a domestic dispute. The suspect kicked his girlfriend out of the home. Originally a child was inside, but was released.
The mobile command post and the SWAT were on the scene at 9:55 a.m.
