BOARDMAN— Ron Moschella, Boardman High School's longtime girls varsity basketball coach, has verbally resigned.
With 546 career wins in 30 seasons, Moschella ranks ninth in the state. His teams in 2005 and 2008 were state semifinalists. Jeff Hammerton, assistant coach, is taking over as head coach.
