BOARDMAN

Stephanie Hanrahan and Brian Racz, both of Boardman, exchanged wedding vows July 29 at St. James Meeting House in Boardman Park. The 2 p.m. ceremony was solemnized by the Rev. Larry Bowald, and a reception for the couple took place at The Georgetown.

The bride is the daughter of Richard and Christine Hanrahan of Canfield and the late Joanne Hanrahan. Parents of the groom are Ronald and Diane Racz of Austintown.

The bride’s white strapless gown was styled with a sweetheart neckline, beaded and embroidered embellishments and featured layered pickups and a lace-up corset back.

Attending the bride as matrons of honor were Shelly Kovach and Holly Watts. Bridesmaids were Lauren Suarez, the bride’s sister; Laura Bryer, the groom’s sister; and Jen DeNiro. Nicole Joseph, the bride’s cousin, was a junior bridesmaid, and Alexa Joseph, another cousin, was flower girl. All were dressed in Euro eggplant attire.

Performing the duties of best men were Don Nuzzi and Brian Diyorio. Groomsmen were Frank Balog, Sean Sich and Keith Vogt. Luke Gabrovsek, a cousin of the bride, was ring bearer.

The couple are both graduates of Youngstown State University, and hold bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education. The bride is a third-grade teacher at Robinwood Lane Elementary School. The groom is a social studies teacher at Boardman High School.

After a wedding trip to Oahu and Maui, Hawaii, the couple are making their home in Boardman.
