Julie Vazquez scored two goals and assisted on another to lead Cardinal Mooney past Beaver Local, 4-1, in a girls soccer game Monday.

Taylor Sikich and Lindsey Perkins added goals forMooney. Jessica Fair scored for Beaver Local.

Newton Falls 8, Struthers 3

STRUTHERS

Senior Destinee Smith had three goals, while Angela Giuliano, Nikita Rasp, Desare Johnson, Andria Masetta and Rachel Ellis had single goals for Newton Falls. Savanah Serich had two goals for Struthers, while Wildcat goalie Katie Jordan had nine saves.

Crestview 2, East Liverpool 1

COLUMBIANA

Nicole Richey and Alexia Roberts scored goals, and Megan Foster made 21 saves to lead Crestview. Sarah Guildoo scored for East Liverpool, on an assist by Nicole Talbot. Potters goalie Chelsey Possage had 11 saves.

Salem 2, Niles 0

SALEM

Stephanie Wood and Marisssa Swindell scored goals, and goalie Kaitlyn Kelm had 20 saves to lead Salem. Brittany Skiba and Anna Wyss recorded assists for the Quakers.

Poland 5, Boardman 0

POLAND

Erin Gabriel and Quynn Latsko each had two goals, and Carolyn Balzano and Katie Marucci each added two assists to lead Poland. Jeana Visingardi had the other goal for the Bulldogs, and Gabriel added an assist. Teryn Ross had 10 saves for Boardman in goal.

Edgewood 9, Ursuline 4

Caity Mills scored six goals and Julianne Newsome two for Edgewood on Saturday.For the Irish, Briana Curd and Angela Bowell each scored two goals. Goaltenders Jessica McGeary and Sarsch combined to make nine saves.

HOOVER 1, FITCH 0

AUSTINTOWN

Madison Helterbran’s goal off a direct kick was the difference for the Vikings. Jessica Scott of Fitch had three saves.

BADGER 6, GIRARD 0

GIRARD

Tiffany Helmuth and Holly Masters both scored twice for Badger, while Jennilyn Krumpe and Olivia Vanscoy had one each. Masters also had two assists, while Helmuth and Krumpe added one each. Izabella Armstrong had nine saves for Badger and Liz Steen had 16 for Girard.

Greg Bable scored three goals to lead Crestview to a 12-0 victory over East Liverpool. Zack Moore, Anthony Maur and Troy Beard all added two goals apiece, while Josh McGoogan, Tobin Goss and Andrew Botchelor had one each. Maur and Tyler Ogle had two assists each, while Clay Linhart, Alex DeSalvo, Moore and Adam Roberts all had one. Crestview goalie Derek Bable had nine saves.
