Raymond and Iva Barth of Weirton are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Frances Marie Barth, to David Raymond Shaw, son of Mary Ellen Shaw and Melvin Shaw of New Waterford.
Miss Barth is a teller at PNC Bank. Mr. Shaw is a supervisor at a national cellular communications company.
The couple are planning a spring 2012 destination wedding with a local reception to follow.
