Ohio man charged with killing estranged wife

DAYTON, Ohio (AP) — A man accused of shooting his estranged wife to death in southwest Ohio and then fleeing to Indiana has been indicted on murder and assault charges.

The county prosecutor’s office in Dayton says Keith Wilson was indicted Wednesday on two counts each of murder and felonious assault in the death of 40-year-old Marny Wilson. Authorities say she was shot by her husband Aug. 7 outside their house as she was retrieving some belongings amid divorce proceedings. Three of their five children were home at the time.

The 44-year-old Wilson was arrested the next day in Indianapolis by a SWAT team and brought back to Dayton. He’s in the Montgomery County jail with bond set at $3 million.
