VIENNA
The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for Trumbull, Geauga, Lake and Portage counties until 12:15 a.m. Monday.
At 406 p.m. today, the NWS Doppler radar indicated showers and thunderstorms with very heavy rainfall across the warned area.
Doppler radar estimated rainfall rates around 1 inch per hour.
Runoff from these slow moving thunderstorms may cause flooding to occur. Additional rain is expected this evening and overnight. Some locations that could experience flooding include Warren, Cortland, Kinsman and West Farmington in Trumbull County.
