Police are investigating an armed robbery at Family Dollar on Robinson Road.
Police said a sales clerk was opening the doors at 7:52 a.m. Tuesday when a man with a handgun wearing all black came up behind her, pushed her into the store and demanded money.
She opened the safe; police did not release the amount taken.
