BOARDMAN
SlimDown for Kids, a weight management program for children 9 to 12, has been streamlined to make it more convenient for participants and their parents.
The program is a collaborative effort between registered dietitians from Humility of Mary Health Partners and the staff of the D.D. and Velma Davis Family YMCA.
It provides nutrition counseling and fitness training, using the expertise of each organization.
The program runs 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, starting Monday through June 2, at the Davis YMCA, 45 McClurg Road.
