Police have arrested two men in the armed robbery at Galaxy Seafood on April 9.

Nathaniel Dumas, 35, faces charges of aggravated murder and aggravated robbery, and James Thomas, 50, of 2013 Belmont Ave., is charged with aggravated robbery.

According to police, off-duty Youngstown officer Mike Walker was working security at the North Side restaurant and was in the back of the restaurant when Warren V. Wright, 32, of Youngstown, walked in around 6 p.m., pointed a gun at a worker at the front of the establishment, and demanded money.

Wright died after being shot in the chest by Walker.

Police said Dumas was the get-away driver, but because his involvement in the shooting was tied to a death, he was charged with aggravated murder charge because he was aiding and abetting in the death of Wright.

Dumas and Thomas were arrested around 9 p.m. Saturday, Thomas on Belmont Avenue and Dumas, on Alameda Avenue on the city’s North Side.
