Marybeth Shaffer, a general dentist practicing in Leetonia, has been appointed to the Ohio State Dental Board. Shaffer earned degrees from the University of Pittsburgh and Youngstown State University, and did a general-practice residency at Youngstown Hospital Association. She is a limited service instructor in the dental hygiene program at YSU and an instructor for the American Heart Association.

Tom Wronkovich, owner of Harley Davidson BikeTown, recently received the Business Partner of the Year Award from the Eastern Ohio P-16 Council for Education. Wronkovich was recognized for his work with the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center. As a partner with the Career Center, Wronkovich has served on the Power Equipment Program Advisory Committee and provided students with industry training and business knowledge.

Realtor Nancy Cuffle, an agent with Re/Max Valley Real Estate in Boardman, recently received the President’s Sales Club Award of Achievement from the Ohio Association of Realtors.

Douglas Rodgers, a Farmers Insurance agent in Cortland, has completed the Career Agents Course at the University of Farmers in Agoura Hills, Calif.
