ASSOCIATIONS

American Association of University Women, Youngstown Branch, will meet at 10 a.m. Nov. 6 at the Full Circle Florist, 808 Elm St. After the business meeting there will be a “One-Person Show” by Rodd Coonce, based on the life of Vincent Van Gogh. AUXILIARIES

Flora MacDonald Auxiliary will meet for dessert at 1 p.m. Nov. 6 at the home of Jeannette Van Brocklin.

BOOSTERS

Girard Band Boosters will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the high school cafeteria.

McDonald Music Boosters will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at the high school.

CLASSES

Austintown Fitch High School Classes of 1959 and 1960 will meet for breakfast at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Davidson’s restaurant, 3636 Canfield Road, Cornersburg.

Campbell Memorial High School January and June Classes of 1948 will meet for breakfast at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Denny’s restaurant, Route 224 in Boardman.

Campbell Memorial High School Class of June 1950 will meet for lunch at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Bedford Trails, 713 Bedford Road, Lowellville. The group will discuss plans for a Christmas party to take place Dec. 1 at the Blue Wolf.

Chaney High School January and June 1942 alumni will meet at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Denny’s in Austintown. No reservations are necessary.

Woodrow Wilson High School Class of 1951 will meet for breakfast at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Landmark Restaurant, 7424 Market St., Boardman.

CLUBS

Mahoning Valley Civil War Roundtable will meet at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 8 at Antone’s Banquet Centre in Boardman. Dinner meetings are $13 per person, and reservations are required. The guest speaker will be Thomas Vince, historian and librarian at Western Reserve Academy in Hudson, Ohio. Poland Center Homemakers will meet for a casserole luncheon from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Poland United Methodist Church. Hostesses are Jean Mook and Jean Layne. A craft project will be available. Members are to take paper products for donation to charity.

GUILDS

Niles Chapter of the American Sewing Guild has scheduled the following: ASG@JOANN ETC will have a Christmas party at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Drake’s Landing on Western Reserve Road. LIBRARY FRIENDS

Friends of the Poland Library will meet at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday for coffee in the Poland Library meeting room. After the 10 a.m. business meeting, a docent from the Butler Institute of American Art will present the program, “Women in Art.” Hostesses for the meeting are Ruth Tower, Jo Ann Dama and Mary Ann Elias. Current magazine and book donations will be collected for the Poland Friends book cart fundraiser.

Trumbull County Federated Democratic Women’s Club will meet at 6 p.m. Monday at Georgie’s Restaurant, 1860 Elm Road NE, Warren.

Girard Knights of Columbus will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the K. of C. Hall, 122 S. State St.

Hubbard Historical Society will have its annual dinner meeting at 6 p.m. Nov. 11 at Frankie’s Main Street Caf , 368 N. Main St., Hubbard. After the dinner and a brief business meeting for the election of officers, Hubbard High School Choir will perform. Annual dues may be paid at this time. Nar-anon, a 12-step program for relatives and friends who have been adversely affected by a loved one’s addiction to drugs, meets Fridays at the Neil Kennedy Recovery Clinic, 160 Clifton NE, Howland.
