St. Pete Beach, Fla.

Ivy Zerna Sesaldo of Seminole, Fla., and Daniel Orrin Weaver of St. Petersburg, Fla., were married at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 28 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in St. Pete Beach.

The Rev. Allan Tupa officiated at the ceremony, and a reception followed at the Crystal Sands Ballroom at Bilmar Beach Resort in Treasure Island, Fla.

Parents of the bride are Norma Zerna Sesaldo and Vincent Lim Sesaldo, both of Boljoon in the Cebu Province of the Philippines, and the groom’s parents are Debra Weaver and Dennis Weaver, both of Youngstown.

The bride wore a strapless white gown with beaded satin bodice, a tulle ballgown skirt enhanced with lace and beading, and a chapel train.

Pistachio-colored gowns were worn by the bride’s sister and honor attendant, Noreen Talaid, and the bridesmaids, Rashna Griffin, Sharon Cabahug, Penelope Avila and Mary Jane Paredes. Flower girl was Emily Schuler.

Sharing the duties of best man were Derek Weaver, the groom’s brother, and Brian Thomas Schuler, and groomsmen were Matthew Gorris and Jerod Bouslough. Ring bearer was Ethan Schuler and the arrhae bearer was Andrew Schuler

Participating in traditional Filipino wedding customs at the ceremony were Arlene and Dick Sesaldo, the bride’s cousins, and Bernie and Frances Gunter, the groom’s grandparents.

The bride graduated from Velez College with a bachelor of science degree. She is an occupational therapist with Brookdale Senior Living Facility in Seminole.

The groom, a commercial account executive with Brown and Brown Insurance in Tampa, graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor of science degree.
