Ursuline Preschool raffle offers thousands in prizes

Imagine winning a basket of lottery tickets, a pile of gas cards (with $130 worth of gas), a stack of gift cards (valued around $800) or all the toys you’d ever need for Christmas giving.

In its 23rd year, the Ursuline Preschool and Kindergarten is hosting its “Once Upon a Christmas Craft Show,” and within the show are more than a dozen baskets focused around themes.

The Class Act baskets include themes such as: Crayola Kids, Out on the Town, Deck the Halls, Pamper Yourself, Buckeye Power, Chef’s Delight, Perk Me Up and more.

Additionally, there are two mega raffle baskets.

The High Tech Family Fun is valued over $1,200 and includes an Xbox Kinect, Barbie Video Girl, Blue Ray Player, kids ride around electric police car, popcorn popper, Margaritaville Beverage Mixer and more.

The Treasure Chest of Family Gifts is valued over $2,500 and includes gift cards and baskets from places such as Davidson’s, Blue Wolf Tavern, Creekside Fitness, Broadstreet Diner, Edible Arrangements, Tastebuds, Leanna’s World Travel, JCPenney’s Portrait Studio, Panera, Komara Jewelers, Magnolias on the Green and more.

There is also a 50/50 raffle. Last year’s winner took home more than $2,100. Tickets are six for $5 or a $1 each.

Tickets for most themed baskets are two for $1. Stop by the school during school hours to buy tickets or come to the “Once Upon A Christmas” Craft Show Dec. 4 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event features more than 100 craft displays and a bake sale.

Tickets for the gift baskets will be on sale during the show and raffle drawings will be pulled at the close of the show.
