Kent St. rallies to beat Lehigh

Justin Greene and Rodriguez Sherman each scored 18 points as Kent State came from behind to beat Lehigh 80-75 and win its fourth straight on Friday night.

The Golden Flashes (6-1) trailed 41-38 at halftime thanks to a 16-for-35 shooting effort (45.7 percent) from the Mountain Hawks.

Lehigh couldn’t hold the lead in the second half despite C.J. McCollum scoring 24 of his career-high 42 points after intermission.

No. 6 Kansas 98, Ohio 41

LAS VEGAS

Marcus Morris scored 26 points and had eight rebounds to lead Kansas in the third round of the Las Vegas Invitational.

Morris was 11 of 14 from the field for the Jayhawks (5-0), who will play Arizona (4-0) tonight.

D.J. Cooper led the Bobcats (3-2) with 16 points and six rebounds.

Ball State 73, Southern Utah 54

ANCHORAGE, Alaska

Jarrod Jones scored 19 points for Ball State in the consolation round of the Great Alaska Shootout.

Ball State led 38-22 at halftime and took its biggest lead of the game at 64-35 on a drive by Randy Davis with 6:40 remaining in the second half.

Jones, who had 13 points in the first half, shot 9-for-11 from the field for the game.

Davis finished with 11 points and 11 assists. Jauwan Scaife added 14 points, and Jesse Berry had 12.

Niagara 65, Bowling Green 61

DETROIT

Marvin Jordan scored 17 points for Niagara in the Legends Classic.

The Purple Eagles (2-2) overcame a 32-30 halftime deficit while primarily using seven players.

Dee Brown had 12 points and Cameron Black added 10 points and nine boards for the Falcons, who had a 41-32 rebounding edge.
