Jamaica was the honeymoon destination of Frank D. Mascola of Willoughby and his bride, the former Darlene Rushwin, who were united in marriage at 2 p.m. July 31 at St. Charles Borromeo Church.

The ceremony was officiated by the Revs. Edward Suszynski Jr. and David Vivero Jr., and the couple greeted guests afterward during a reception at Lavera Party Center in Willoughby Hills.

The bride is a daughter of Lourdes Rushwin of Parma and the late Richard Rushwin Sr., and the groom’s parents are Frank and Pauline Mascola of Struthers.

The bride wore a strapless A-line gown embellished with appliqu s on the English net and featuring a cathedral train.

Pool blue gowns were worn by Debbie Rushwin, the bride’s sister and honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Kristin Girard; Adrianna Orosz; Maria Marzano Campbell, a cousin of the groom; Sara Koloda; and Kristen Farrell. Junior bridesmaid was Danielle Rosales, a cousin of the bride, and flower girls were Molly Rosales and Angel Fae Baleskie, cousins and goddaughters of the bride.

Best man was Michael Mascola, the groom’s brother, and groomsmen were Joe Marzano, the groom’s cousin; Jim Jablonski; Vic Franceschelli; Scott Sanek; and Mathew Chan, a cousin of the bride. Ring bearers were Noah Lynch and Joseph Rushwin, the bride’s cousins; junior groomsman was Rymwen Sano, the bride’s cousin; and ushers were Eric Green and Dan Nagle.

The bride graduated from Cleveland State University with a degree in nursing and is employed at the Cleveland Clinic.

The groom earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the College of Wooster and a master’s degree in counseling from Youngstown State University. He is a medical consultant with Synthes Orthopedics in Cleveland.
