Staff report

YOUNGSTOWN

Youngstown Playhouse Youth Theatre will present two events this holiday season.

“Alice in Wonderland” will be performed at 2:30 p.m. Saturday and Dec. 4. Both performances will include punch and cookies and post-show autograph parties with the cast.

The production is directed by John Pecano and Candace DiLullo. James Lybarger is the set designer, assisted by Pecano, and Cherie Stebner is the costumer. Dorene White serves as stage manager. The large cast of adults and children features Li Stebner as Alice and Dylan White as the Mad Hatter.

Ticket prices are $7 for adults and $5 for children.

The Youth Theatre also will present its popular Cinderella Brunch — but this year, it has become a luncheon. Now in its sixth year, the event will take place three times — Saturday and Dec. 4 and 11 at noon in the Playhouse’s Moyer Room.

Guests will interact with costumed characters from the story as they dine and record their holiday requests in the Fairy Godmother’s Wish Book. The girls can try on the famous slipper and dance with Prince Charming. All children will receive a coloring/activity book and enjoy an appearance by Santa Claus. The event is created and directed by Youth Theatre Director Patricia M. Fagan.

The menu will include mini corn dogs, sliders, smiley-face potatoes, vegetables and dip, fresh fruit, Christmas cookies, punch and a “make your own” sundae bar.

Admission is $10 per child and $12 for adults. Reservations are necessary; call 330-788-8739.
