Niles superintendent resigns, but won't deny rehiring

NILES

Rocco Adduci, superintendent of Niles schools since 2004, has resigned for what he termed “retirement reasons” effective July 31, 2011, when his contract expires.

The superintendent said his future is uncertain, but he was guarded about the possibility of being rehired for the very position he plans to leave.

“All my options are open, and I don’t know what I’m going to do,” Adduci said.

Asked about a retire-rehire possibility, the superintendent would not flatly dismiss it.
