Peter Argeropulos, the chief operating officer for CiviGenics Inc. in Milford, Mass., was unavailable Wednesday to comment about reports that an inmate in the Columbiana County jail severely injured himself Tuesday by jumping from a second-story cell block.
CiviGenics, a private company, runs the jail.
County Sheriff Ray Stone referred questions about the incident to CiviGenics. The warden at the jail who works for CiviGenics was not available.
