Miss Burns, Mr. Fischbach are engaged

The engagement and upcoming marriage of Kimberly Jean Burns and Thomas Brian Fischbach are being announced by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Burns of Vienna, and his mother, Eleanor Ruth Fischbach of Leroy Township.

Miss Burns, a regional account manager for a company based out of Franklin, Tenn., lives in Vienna. She studied pre-law at Kent State University before moving to Nashville to further her career as a singer/songwriter. She has toured domestically and internationally for more than 15 years, and has worked with the USO to entertain troops overseas.

Mr. Fischbach, also a son of the late James Kenneth Fischbach, earned degrees from Lakeland Community College and has been a corporate facilitator and instructional designer for more than 12 years in the field of adult education. He lives in Concord Township and is a professional services manager for a training consulting company based in Hudson.

Invitations will be issued for the wedding the couple have planned for the spring of 2011 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Painesville Township and for a reception to follow at DeRubertis Party Center in Madison.
