MAHONING COUNTY

Celtic Healthcare offers hot, nutritious meals weekdays at seven locations in Mahoning County for people 60 or older and their spouses, regardless of age. Reservations are required three days in advance, and transportation is available. A $2 donation is suggested per meal. Home-delivered meals are also available for seniors homebound due to illness, injury or handicap.

Wednesday, May 26: Barbecued pork, au gratin potatoes, spinach, Diamond Jim bun, unsweetened peaches and milk.

Thursday, May 27: Cincinnati chili, green beans, Mexicorn, white bread with margarine, diced pears (unsweetened available) and milk.

Friday, May 28: Hamburger on a bun with mustard and relish, stewed tomatoes, lima beans, mixed fruit (unsweetened available) and milk.

Saturday, May 29: Cold cuts on a bun with mayonnaise and mustard, potato salad, unsweetened peaches and orange juice.

Monday, May 31: Closed for Memorial Day.

Tuesday, June 1: Ham slice with pineapple, mashed yams, creamed corn, wheat bread with margarine, diced pears (unsweetened available) and milk.

TRUMBULL COUNTY

The Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs offers older people a well-balanced meal and an opportunity to share fellowship weekdays at 12 locations in Trumbull County. Reservations must be made two working days in advance. Any person 60 or older or whose spouse is 60 or over is eligible to attend. There is no income requirement. The suggested donation is $1.25 per meal.

Wednesday, May 26: Barbecued riblet, au gratin potatoes, spinach, Diamond Jim bun, unsweetened peaches and milk.

Thursday, May 27: Cincinnati chili, green beans, Mexicorn, white bread with margarine, diced pears (unsweetened available) and milk.
