AUSTINTOWN
Sherry Lynn Borys and Michael Robert Karis, both of Austintown, are announcing their engagement and plans for their summer wedding.
The couple will exchange nuptial vow during a 3 p.m. Aug. 14 wedding at Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Park, Youngstown. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and for a reception that evening at The Georgetown in Boardman.
The bride-elect is a daughter of Bohdon and Patricia Borys of Mesquite, Nev., and parents of the future groom are Robert and Margaret Karis of Poland.
Miss Borys majored in finance at Youngstown State University, where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She is a staff accountant with First Place Bank in Warren.
Mr. Karis is employed by Baker Installations in McMurray, Pa.
