LUCASVILLE, Ohio — The death sentence of inmate Lawrence Reynolds was carried out at the Southern Ohio Correctional Facility here this morning via intravenous lethal injection.
Reynolds’ time of death was 10:27 a.m. His sentence was imposed on June 9, 1994 by the Summit County Common Pleas Court for the murder of an elderly Cuyahoga Falls neighbor.
Reynolds had tried to commit suicide while at the Ohio State Penitentiary facility in Youngstown a few days ago.
