Hold parents accountable
I am a former elementary teacher, a mother of four and a grandmother of three.
In my opinion, there are two people who are essential and responsible in education a child. They are the child’s parents and/or guardians and the teacher.
Recently, an entire teaching staff at a school in Rhode Island were fired because of the academic failure of their students. Tis may be setting a negative precedent in education.
My question is how do we address and make accountable parents and/or guardians who are failures at parenting?
