Darin Munnell, a 2000 graduate of Canfield High School, appears in the new Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz movie “Knight & Day,” which opened in theaters Wednesday.
Munnell, 28, plays a singer in a band during a scene in which Diaz’s character is at a wedding. It’s a fleeting background scene, but Munnell did get a credit for the role.
The 2004 Youngstown State University graduate also has had non-speaking roles in “Iron Man” and “National Treasure 2.”
