YOUNGSTOWN — Ohio Attorney General Richard Cordray will have a press conference at 10 a.m. Thursday to discuss the pending agreement between Forum Health and Ardent Health Services, and the role the attorney general’s office in reviewing and approving the proposed transaction.
Ardent, based in Nashville, Tenn., has proposed to pay $69.8 million to purchase all Forum’s assets, including its three hospitals. Forum has been in bankruptcy since March 2009.
The press conference will be at the local attorney general’s office, 20 Federal Place, 20 W. Federal St., third-floor conference room.
