Trustmark donation benefits the disabled

Trustmark Insurance on South Avenue in Boardman presented a $5,000 donation to Golden String at the home of The Purple Cat Day Habilitative Program, 4738 McCartney Road, on Tuesday.

Golden String is a nonprofit organization designed to raise funds to enhance the quality of life for children and adults with disabilities in the Mahoning Valley by providing them with recreation and socialization activities.

Trustmark, a leading health and life insurer and benefits administrator, has made generous donations to Golden String for several consecutive years.
