Authorities probe death of Salem infant

SALEM

Authorities are investigating the death of a seven month old boy early today.

Derek A. Dennison was taken to Salem Community Hospital’s emergency room at 12:38 a.m. today. Police Chief Robert Floor said the boy was unresponsive. Efforts to revive him were unsuccessful.

The cause of death has not been determined. Members of the Salem police and the Columbiana County Coroner’s Office are investigating.
