“Merle Haggard: LEARNING TO LIVE WITH MYSELF” (10 P.M., PBS): “Merle Haggard: Learning to Live with Myself” is a compelling new edition of “American Masters.” It’s a candid look at the country music icon that reveals how his juvenile delinquency and incarcerations still inform his creativity.

“Work of Art: THE NEXT GREAT ARTIST” (10 P.M., BRAVO): Break out the crayons. It’s a night of child’s play on the addictive new series “Work of Art: The Next Great Artist” as the contestants are challenged to create pieces using only kid-friendly materials.

Museum exhibit

WARREN

A collection of Occupied Japan figurines, doll dishes, toys and teapots is on display at the Sutliff Museum now through August.

The dainty pieces and colorful characters were made between V-J Day in 1945 and April 1952 — the period of the Allied Forces’ occupation of Japan. As manufacturing resumed in Japan, inexpensive china and porcelain items were mass produced, as well as cheap toys made of celluloid and tin. Today, because of their limited supply, they have become desirable, yet inexpensive, collectibles. Hours are 2-4 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday.

The museum is on the second floor of the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library, 444 Mahoning Ave. NW, near Courthouse Square. Admission is free.

Mustang club event

CANFIELD

The family-oriented club participates in car shows, charity events, cruises and trips to national shows. It also has monthly social events.
