WEDNESDAY

Southington United Methodist Church, state Route 395 at 534, Southington, will serve chicken dinners from 3:30 to 6 p.m. Meals include 1/4 chicken, scalloped potatoes, green beans, applesauce, coleslaw and homemade desserts. Dinners are $7.50 for adults. Meals of chicken tenders for children 4 through 10 are $4, and children under 3 eat free. Carryouts will be available. Call the church at 330-898-2156 and meals will be ready to be picked up.

THURSDAY

Calvary United Methodist Church, 12062 South Ave. ext., North Lima, will have a drive-through homemade chicken dinner from 4 to 6 p.m. (or until sold out) . Dinners include stuffed chicken breast, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and a brownie. The cost is $6. Drive up to the door and a volunteer will bring the meal to your car. To order dinners call 330-549-2588 or 330-549-5106 for pickup at a time you give or for pickup by 5:15 p.m.

Central Christian Church, 2051 E. Market St., Warren, will have its 59th strawberry social from 4 to 7 p.m. Available will be hot dogs, sloppy Joes, potato salad, homemade pies and cakes and old-fashioned strawberry shortcake. St. Michael Orthodox Church, 125 Steel St., Youngstown, will serve a homemade Chinese lunch and supper from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. every Thursday. This week’s meal will feature five-spice beef. The cost is $5. To order in advance call 330-799-8133 on Thursday.

VFW Triangle Post 2799 Auxiliary, 3161 E. South Range Road, New Springfield, will serve spaghetti dinners with meatballs, salad, bread and coffee or tea from 4 to 7 p.m. The cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children under 12. Carryouts are $6.25.

FRIDAY

Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown, will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod or fried haddock; sides of Spanish rice, haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries or string beans (choose two); coleslaw or applesauce; bread and butter; and coffee or tea. The cost is $9 for adults and $4.50 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.50. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 330-792-1005.

National Shrine of Our Lady of Lebanon, 2759 Lipkey Road, North Jackson, will sell 12-inch Briar Hill style pizza for $8 every Friday. Orders will be accepted before 5 p.m. Fridays and pickup will be from 3 to 6 p.m. For more information or to place an order call 330-538-3351.

SATURDAY

Fowler United Methodist Church, 3426 Youngstown-Kingsville Road, will serve chicken-pie dinners from 3:30 to 6 p.m. Meals will include potatoes, green beans, applesauce, coleslaw, bread, dessert and beverage. SUNDAY

Vincent United Methodist Church, 28 Walnut St., Jackson Center, Pa., will serve stuffed pork chop dinners beginning at noon. Meals cost $8 and include potatoes, salad, vegetable, coleslaw, dessert and a beverage. Children 10 and under eat for $4.

Otterbein United Methodist Church, 1128 State Road, Champion, will have a rotisserie chicken dinner from 3:30 to 6 p.m. July 14. The menu includes 1/4 rotisserie chicken, four sides, rolls and desserts. The cost is $7 for adults. Children’s meals of chicken tenders are $4 for those 4-10. Children 3 and under eat free. The Rayen School Class of 2001 will host a spaghetti luncheon fundraiser from noon to 3 p.m. July 17 at Lucianno’s Cafe and Banquet Center, 1739 Raccoon Road, Youngstown.
