MAHONING COUNTY

Celtic Healthcare offers hot, nutritious meals weekdays at seven locations in Mahoning County for people 60 or older and their spouses, regardless of age. Reservations are required three days in advance, and transportation is available. A $2 donation is suggested per meal. Home-delivered meals are also available for seniors homebound due to illness, injury or handicap.

Wednesday, Feb. 3: Steak burger, Harvard beets, vegetable medley, hot dog bun, sweetened or unsweetened apricots, and milk.

Thursday, Feb. 4: Grilled chicken, rice pilaf, glazed carrots, spinach salad, wheat bread with margarine, grape juice, and milk.

Friday, Feb. 5: Tuna noodle casserole, broccoli, whole kernel corn, wheat bread with margarine, sweetened or unsweetened diced peaches, and milk.

Saturday, Feb. 6: Cold cut sandwich on a hamburger bun with mustard/mayonnaise, fresh fruit, macaroni salad, coleslaw, and milk.

Monday, Feb. 8: Beef stew, buttered rice, lima beans, corn muffin, sweetened or unsweetened orange gelatin, and milk.

Tuesday, Feb. 9: Chicken breast patty on a hamburger bun, green bean casserole, cauliflower, sweetened or unsweetened diced pears, and milk.

TRUMBULL COUNTY

The Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs offers older people a well-balanced meal and an opportunity to share fellowship weekdays at 12 locations in Trumbull County. Reservations must be made two working days in advance. Any person 60 or older or whose spouse is 60 or over is eligible to attend. There is no income requirement. The suggested donation is $1.25 per meal.
