Poland hoopsters

The Poland eighth-grade boys basketball team continued to play well Jan. 21, registering a 48-27 win over Howland.

Jacob Roemer led the hoopsters with 10 points, six rebounds, two steals and two assists. Steve Andrews and Jacob Wolfe both put up nine points apiece. Wolfe also had seven rebounds, two steals and five assists. Other team scorers were Nick Mailles with seven points and Tyler Evan with six points.

The Bulldogs improved to 7-3 on the year but will face a challenging week as they play Canfield and Austintown Red.
