Harding wins Trumbull prep bowl contest

WARREN — The Harding High School Academic Team has won the Trumbull County 2010 Prep Bowl tournament at the Trumbull Career and Technical Center in Champion.

Harding beat Niles in the final round to win first place, posting only one loss to Howland in the first round of the double-elimination tournament. Harding beat TCTC, Bloomfield, Liberty, Lakeview, and McDonald two times.

The team consists of sophomores Michael Coates, Sam Eartly, Korey Gall, Joseph Angelo, Allison Thirion, and Andrew Miller, who will advance to the regional level of the Ohio Academic Competition to be held April 18.
