Driver crashes into Boardman flower shop tonight

BOARDMAN — A car crashed into a Lockwood Boulevard flower shop this evening, sending its driver to the hospital.

According to the crash report, about 6:30 p.m., police and firefighters were called to Mums the Word. The flower shop was closed and no one was inside.

The identity of the man who was driving the car wasn’t immediately available.
