Petersime parole denied

WARREN — The Ohio Parole Board has rejected the request of Martin Petersime to be released from prison and won’t reconsider for nearly five years.

Petersime, 56, was owner of the Warren Music Store on High Street Northeast in 1992 when he was convicted of 20 felony sex offenses involving six young people at his music store.

Petersime was sentenced to up to 40 years in prison and was eligible to be released this month. His next parole hearing comes up in November 2014.

Petersime gave drugs to children to facilitate sex with them, had group sex with them, produced pornographic films with them and himself and many other types of sexual deviancy, Watkins said.
