Rising Sun Lodge 90 elects officers, makes appointments

YOUNGSTOWN — The election of officers was on the agenda when Rising Sun Lodge 90 met on Jan. 12. James W. Robinson served as moderator for the election.
JamesL. White, a Master Mason and president of White Van Lines, was elected worshipful master of the lodge.
Voted to be his associate officers were: Albert C. Tate, senior warden; Morris W. Lee, junior warden; Andrew J. Huff, secretary; and Wayne W. Gamble, treasurer.
As his first official duty, White appointed the following members to positions: Allen L. Smith, assistant secretary; Hurnden Mitchem, senior deacon; Gerald Clark, junior deacon; Michael K. Lewis, senior steward; Douglas Jones, junior steward; Charles A. Montgomery, marshal; Robert Fryson, tiler; John R. Clark, chaplain; James Kershaw and Roland Even, masters-of-ceremonies.
John R. Clark, Tate, David M. Lawrence, and Wali Salahuddin were named trustees, and Alan Steel was named to the scholarship committee.
