Fatal church shooting angers St. Dominic parishioners

YOUNGSTOWN — The Saturday morning fatal shooting of an elderly church member has stoked some fear but a lot of anger in many fellow parishioners.

“No little punk with a gun is going to run me off,” one angry and defiant member of St. Dominic’s Church said in response to the slaying of an 80-year-old woman found dead in her car.

Plans are being considered to beef up security at the church, says its pastor.
