Drug abuse: Police charged Jamar Howell, 30, of 3508 Loveland Road, Youngstown, with drug abuse after finding a small bag of suspected marijuana and a suspected marijuana cigarette on him on Main Street.

Drug paraphernalia: Police charged a 16-year-old male student with delinquency by way of possession of drug paraphernalia at the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center, 7300 N. Palmyra Road, after police found a small hollow pipe on him with a white residue. The student said the residue was crushed Ritalin.

Drug paraphernalia: Police cited a 16-year-old male student for possession of drug paraphernalia and released to the custody of his parents at the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center after police found a small metal pipe with a peace symbol on it and containing suspected marijuana residue on him.

Jan. 16

Drug abuse: Police charged William Dante, 19, of 4583 Deer Creek Court, Austintown, with drug abuse. Police found two white oval pills on him which were identified as hydrocodone during a traffic stop of Lisbon Street.

Property theft: A resident in the 20 block of Lakeview Circle reported to police that she believes movers took her wedding and engagement rings.
