Canfield band students perform in honors band

Neighbors | Submitted.Seven students from the Canfield High School and Middle School bands performed in the Ohio Music Educators Association District 5 Honors Band. Seven students of the Canfield High School Band and five from the Canfield Middle School Band performed in the Ohio Music Educators Association District 5 Honors Band.
Each director nominates their best players and a selection committee chooses the band based on accomplishments, recommendations, and instrumentation.
Each band met at the first rehearsal to have seating auditions followed by a sectional rehearsal.
The second rehearsal was a daylong event at Stambaugh Auditorium conducted by each guest conductor. A wonderful concert was presented after the third rehearsal at Stambaugh.
