COLUMBIANA — Jean Ann Simon, 327 W. Park Ave., is announcing the engagement of her daughter, Kari E. Simon, 141 N. Main St., and Ronald W. Novak, 1717 Lynn Mar Ave., Boardman.
The future groom is a son of Marian and George Klutcher of Boardman and the late Ronald J. Novak.
Miss Simon, also a daughter of the late Bruce R. Simon, is a childcare provider. She will graduate in May from Eastern Gateway Community College.
Mr. Novak graduated from Youngstown State University and is employed by Heritage Environmental Services in East Liverpool.
Lockwood United Methodist Church in Boardman has been chosen by the couple for their open wedding at 3 p.m. May 22. Their reception will be by invitation that evening at the Byzantine Center at the Grove in Youngstown.
