Cruze marketing discussed at Cleveland Auto Show

CLEVELAND — Chevrolet will promote the Cruze with a grass-roots marketing campaign in addition to traditional advertising.

Margaret Brooks, marketing director for General Motors’ small cars, said this morning at the Cleveland Auto Show that GM will take the Cruze to people where they live and encourage them to go for a test drive.

Brooks said the Cruze will have a “price you would expect for a compact car,” but she wouldn’t be more specific.

General Motors will launch the Cruze later this year from its Lordstown complex.

The car is on display at the auto show, which begins Saturday.
