ASSOCIATIONS

• Gold Wing Road Rider Association, Chapter M, will meet Saturday for supper at 5 p.m. and a meeting at 6 at the Yankee Kitchen, 6635 Market St., Boardman. • Mill Creek Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association will meet at 6 p.m. March 9 at Caff Capri on Market Street, Boardman. The cost for the Italian-style meal with dessert will be $16. • Girard Band Boosters will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the high school.

• McDonald Basketball Boosters will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the high school cafeteria.

• McDonald Music Boosters will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at the high school.

CLASSES

• Campbell Memorial High School Class of 1959 will meet for a noon luncheon Wednesday at Bedford Trails in Lowellville.

• Campbell Memorial High School January and June Classes of 1958 will meet for breakfast at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Denny’s Restaurant, Route 224, Boardman. All classmates and spouses are welcome.

• Struthers High School Class of 1954 will meet at 9 a.m. March 13 for breakfast at Denny’s Restaurant, Route 224, Boardman. No reservations needed. Guests are welcome.

• Wilson High School Class of 1951 will meet for breakfast at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Landmark Restaurant, 7424 Market St., Boardman. All classmates and guests are welcome.

CLUBS

• College Club of Sharon will meet at 10 a.m. March 13 for a continental breakfast at the First Presbyterian Church, Sharon, Pa. Dr. David Simonelli, associate professor of history at Youngstown State University, will speak on “The Effect of Ancient Culture on Today. “Paula Haehnel, Nancy Gearhart, Sally Yonchak and Jeanne Hink will be the hospitality committee. • Greater Youngstown Monitoring Association Scanner Club will have a winter scan March 6 at Boardman United Methodist Church, 6809 Market St., Boardman. • Niles Chapter of the American Sewing Guild has scheduled the following neighborhood group meetings: ASG at Joann Etc. at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday for a mini bow tuck purse demonstration; Niles Silver Thimbles at 10 a.m. Thursday at Viking Sewing Center, 40 Youngstown-Warren Road, Niles, for rag rug demonstration; and Fancy Cutters at 10 a.m. March 8 at Lake Vista, 303 N. Mecca St., Cortland, for a computer hand rest demonstration.

LEAGUES

• Boardman-Poland Junior Women’s League will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at Glenellen Assisted Living, 9661 Market St., Boardman. Plans will be made for a St. Patrick’s Day party on March 13 at The Georgetown. LIBRARY FRIENDS

• Friends of Poland Library will meet at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday for coffee at the library meeting room. After the 10 a.m. business session Carol Weakland will present a performance of “The Scarlet Letter.” Hostesses will be Mary Foldvary, Louise Martinko and Beverly Shorey. Books and magazines will be collected for the book cart.

POLITICAL CLUBS

• Canfield Republican Women’s Club will meet at noon Wednesday at A La Cart Catering in Canfield. Jim Rosa, CPA with Hill, Barth and King, will speak about taxes and what the changes might mean. All area Republican women and guests are welcome. For reservations call (330) 533-4731.

• Warren Republican Women’s Club will meet at noon Thursday at DiLucia’s Restaurant on Elm Road, Warren. An agent from the Drug Enforcement Administration will be the speaker. RELIGIOUS GROUPS

• Community Christian Women will meet for a luncheon at 12:30 p.m. March 8 at Columbiana Nazarene Church. The donation is $5, and reservations should be made with church representatives by Thursday. The program will be presented by the guest speaker, Jonathan White of Canton, vocalist and recording artist. • Girard K. of C. Council 2935 will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the K. of C. Hall, 122 S. State St.

• Girard Knights of Columbus Ladies will attend a 4 p.m. Mass March 6 at St. Rose Church for a night of recollection. Members are reminded to take prayer shawls to be blessed. A Lenten supper will follow in Rosetta Hall.

• McDonald Knights of Columbus will meet at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the K. of C. Hall, Illinois Avenue.

• Mothers of the Crucifix Society of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church will meet at 1:30 p.m. March 7 at the St. John Paul Center with Elizabeth Mirone presiding. Plans will be made for a card party on March 28. Hostesses will be Rachael Pilolli and Lisa Orlando.

• St. Michael Altar Guild will meet at 6 p.m. Monday at the parish center with Lynda Fuller presiding. There will be a soup supper, and Patti Prichard L‘Italien will present a program on “Spring Cleaning.” Hostesses will be Agnes Romyak and Pauline Weldon.

• St. Rose Quilting Group will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the parish house.

SERVICE CLUBS

• Girard-Liberty Rotary Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at The Golf Dome, 11300 N. State St., Girard.

SINGLES

• Adult Christian Singles will meet at 7 p.m. Saturday for a potluck dinner. Members are to take food to share and a donation for the main dish and paper products, and another meeting will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Atmosphere Cafe for dining. There will be a prize giveaway.

SUPPORT GROUPS

• Alzheimer’s Association Caregiver Support Group will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Senior Center of Mahoning County, Fifth Avenue, Youngstown, and at 1:30 p.m. March 10 at Easter Seals Day Center, 721 Boardman-Poland Road, Boardman.
