Daughters were able to spend quality time with their dads at Father-Daughter night Feb. 4.

Union Elementary hosted the event that allowed students to play games and enjoy a night of family fun. Upon arrival, each student checked in and received a colored ring.

Each grade was assigned a specific color. A schedule was provided directing the color coded groups on where they needed to go.

The night consisted of six events — bingo, pictionary, cake walk (modified musical chairs), “Are You Smarter Than a Union Girl” and a photo opportunity.

Students went head-to-head in school-related trivia in “Are You Smarter Than a Union Girl.”

Cake walk allowed students to test their luck in moving over numbered paws to music and stopping on a paw when the music stopped. There was only one winner per round, but every student won a prize by the end.

To remember the night, students took photos with their fathers and were given a photo stand to take home.
