Trumbull commissioners present check

Commissioners raise the roof: Trumbull County commissioners recently presented a check for $8,500 to the Trumbull County Fair Board for the installation of a new roof and some panels on the 1848 Disciples of Christ Church. A symbolic big check for the big project was presented by the commissioners, from left, Frank Fuda, Paul Heltzel and Dan Polivka, to members of the fair board, Richard R. Roscoe, president; and Dick Turner and Ken Kubala, directors. The church, shown in the background, was moved in 1973 from the corner of Everett Hull and Hoagland Blackstub roads in Bazetta to the Trumbull County Fairgrounds.
