LISBON
Columbiana County Prosecutor Robert Herron said this morning that a woman has been charged with endangering children in connection with the death of her child.
Columbiana County Coroner Dr. William Graham Jr. previously declared the death of Derek A. Dennison a homicide. His autopsy report on the 7-month-old boy indicated a pattern of abuse.
Herron said she was taken into custody Tuesday evening.
The prosecutor said he anticipates additional charges. The boy was pronounced dead at Salem Community Hospital about 12:38 a.m. July 23.
