Mr. and Mrs. Edward Bartos
CAMPBELL
Mr. and Mrs. Edward Bartos of Campbell were to be honored today as they celebrate the 50th anniversary of their Aug. 20, 1960, wedding at St. John the Baptist Church, where they are members.
A highlight of the day was to be a dinner at 1 p.m. at the Holiday Inn in Boardman.
Extending invitations and hosting the event are their children and their spouses, Edward Jr. and Susan Bartos of Hudson, Paula and Mark Turnbull of Poland, and Patricia and Albert Huzicka of Lake Milton. Their family circle includes nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Bartos, the former Bertha Smiley, retired in 1995 from Mahoning National Bank in Struthers, where she was employed in customer service. She is a member of the Ladies Guild, Infant Jesus of Prague Guild and the Altar and Rosary Society.
Mr. Bartos is a Korean War veteran. He retired in 1995 as a carpenter with Carpenters Local Union in Youngstown. He is a member of the Men’s Club.
