YOUNGSTOWN — Eight students were honored this week by the Mahoning County commissioners as winners of the county recycling division’s annual recycling and anti-litter theme poster contest, which drew 1,822 entries this year.
The winners are Nicholas DeLullo and Katie Masucci, Poland Union Elementary School; Arianna Maillis, Campbell Elementary School; Alexis Kirby, Springfield Elementary School; Maddie Buehler, Damascus Elementary School; Lauren Halloran, St. Charles School; Tori DeSantis, Glenwood Middle School; and Norah Young, Willow Creek learning Center.
Winners received $25 American Express gift certificates from Dominion East Ohio. Katie also was a winner last year.
